Kara brings 20 years of experience as a Registered Occupational Therapist and was intimately involved as a Caregiver/Guardian after her own mother who suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury in 1997. Kara has successfully worked with entire Healthcare teams in Hospitals, Long Term Care Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, and Home Care settings. Kara has also created and led a Caregiver Support group embracing all caregivers located in her community called "Saturdays at 2".
